I dont understand why I keep getting this ''The game couldn't start.Try downloading the game again.'' every time I try to play my games from my external hdd and FSD. Do ALL the games have to be installed in the internal HDD ? When I run the games from xex menu,they work...but when I run the games from my external hdd and FSD they don't start.My question is do ALL games have to be installed in xex menu to work on external hdd and FSD ? Some one told me to update my dash and this would fix the Game couldn't start problem so I updated to dash 2.0.16537.0 using simple 360 nand flasher and this DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM...Please help

The same games won't start? What paths? What games? etc? You're missing information which could help us help you.
im using FSD 3 and Dashlaunch and im on 2.0.16537.0 okay I have about 70 xbox360 games extracted and installed on my 2tb hdd and only 26 of them work when I try to play them from FSD.A POP up will appear saying ''the game couldn't start'' But when I go into xexmenu and select a xbox360 game and press the default.xex for that game it will start.In fact all the games start and run okay when I select the default.xex for the different games in xexmenu.why wont all the games start in FSD?Do all the games on my external 2tb hdd have to be installed in xexmenu to work ? or should they all be working in FSD from my external 2tb hdd with out having them installed in xexmenu ?I hope you understand what im trying to say...and if they do all need to be installed in xexmenu they wont fit on my internal 300gb hdd.In Manage Game Paths are....Hdd:\360 Games\26 games and Usb0:\360GAMES\70 games

You've still not said what your scan paths are (including scan depth) or if you've tried removing/reinstalling FSD.
I don't understand what you mean by scan paths? In fsd under Manage Game Paths all I have is Usb:\360GAMES\ Scan Depth:2

If you only have USB:\360 Games\ listed, how are your "HDD:\360 Games" games being accessed?
You know what im sorry I just don't know what im doing ?All I know is when I place the games in xex menu then add the games to fsd through manage game paths the games will work.But when I don't place the games in xex menu and only place the games in the external hdd they don't work.

I figured this as much.
I suggest doing the following:
1. Delete FSD from your HDD.
2. Copy it back over.
3. Go to settings/content settings/manage game paths.
4. Add usb:\360 Games\ with a scan depth of 2. Add hdd:\360 games\ with a scan depth of 2.
5. Let FSD populate them all first (press the right analog stick to get the temps/status/IP etc up so you can see it doing stuff).
6. Once 'idle', try your games.
If you need any more help than this, go to realmodscene.com.
