yes as long as you use the 1.6 rebuild meaning that you would have to solder it

just go and buy a cheap solder kit play around picking up solder and dropping it, then solder in your modchip

so no really

o so its basically the same thing as if u had to solder besides the d0 and the other 2 wires.

The two other wieres (lan and HDD are optional) you must solder the pinheader on and run a wire from the chip into the top or bottom d0 point.Just take it to a friend who is an eletrician for living/good at soldering/your dad (im doing that L) ) to do it for you.

ya if you have to solder stuff anyway for the 1.6 I would say to just get the basic setup. its not bad soldering the header anyway, but you just have to take your time and do it right... good luck :)

cant flash the firmware?

i have just got a new dvd drive for my computer and am trying to flash the firmware to read xbox360 discs ots a samsungSH-D162D 16XIDE DRIVE
as thats the recomended drive i am trying kreon firmware v1.0 and when i run SFDNWIN flash prg and browse for the firmware it starts fine and i load up the firmware and it starts and gets a few seconds inte dloading then says dloading error
i re flashed it with the official samsung firmware fine after it failed to make sure the drive was not corrupt drive works fine on there firmware
what am i doing wrong?
i have windows 7 is that the problem?
if so is there a way to do it in dos mode
