I have few questions:

1) Can i use the pin headers instead of the qsb for reading and writing the nand?

2) Does the Nand X kit come with pin headers? and pin header connection to the nand x?

3) what should be done first, CoolRunner or the nand process?

4) with pin headers installed I can still connect the coolRunner wires to it?

Thanks to any helpers

Hey, man!

1) Yes, you can :)

2) Item #3 in the picture of the NAND-X package.

3) What I do is first is install the headers/QSBs first. Read the NAND a couple of times, or more. (Just to be safe) :) Programming the coolrunner is super quick and easy. You could do that next. Remember! You have to have the chip set to PRG for it to take the programming.

4) That is a good question! I have never done a coolrunner install with the headers. I'll have to look into that!

Sorry about the hijack Martin (oopss)

You got it!

The PRG (Program) is just a little switch on the edge of the chip. After you're done programming the chip, you can flip it back to NOR (Normal) and you're all set!

I would have had the 2nd video up, but I've had a quick setback. Should be up soon!

Best of luck and have fun!
