ANSWERED The problem with HDMI after RGH

my stock xbox has this problem here how i check, try hdmi on my tv no signal. use same hdmi cable and port on tv connect ps3 works fine, take same cable to parents connect to there tv works fine.

i have no clue what causes it but, i just use the vga cable on hd settings for now. looking to get another box soon.

that's happened with me also, the only way to play HD is to use VGA Cable or AV HD component .

Any way to prevent this? And xell can't be loaded in HDMI?

I had the same problem with 2010 stock slim.
HDMI worked only with monitors, not tv's. Microsoft replaced the console, i got brand new (or refurb) unit (new case, 0401 drive, trinity model - already glitched without problems :tongue: )

Another fault of Microsoft?
If Microsoft change the console, its good.

One thing ... What data is the SLIM replaced? Has got HANA?

ok, made some more test about this strange fault.

As I said before, TV was showing unsupported video format via HDMI. Monitor via HDMI was working until I turned TV autodetection in settings. After that monitor stoped working.
Today with turned on console and black monitor I went to settings, turned on autodetection and monitor is working again. After that I unbloged HDMI to DVI cable from monitor and pluged in HDMI to HDMI port1 in my TV. And it worked! Well, everyghing was RED Went to settings again, and it shows that TV is connected via DVI. Changed to port2. Unsupported. Back to port1 - Unsupported.

Im thinking about NO HANA chip, but yours have this chip.
Before AV conector there are 4 inductors.
One is Video signal and the other 3 RGB colour.
If you can test and its ok, probably its hana chip.
If your console its open, probe to pressure this chip.
Im thinking now on leadfree balls.

i know this thread is old but i have the fix i recently had this problem.

Steps:
-Turn off console..
-Power on console using Guide button on the controller.
-As soon as Player 1 LED Lights up, Press and Hold Y + RB.
-Keep holding for up-to 2 MIN
-If didn't work try same steps one more time.
This was only thing that worked for me.
