The reset eject adapter

I ordered my chip from modchipman.com and when i unpacked i realized i didn't have the reset/eject adapter or the cable for it. Do I need these parts? What do they do? Please help me cause I've looked everywhere and am pretty damn stuck.

you don't need it. what that lets you do is boot into backup bios/ boot your xbox with the chip disabled. i think without that adapter you cannot boot with the chip disabled. at least thats what i've been lead to beileve. in any case you can use the xbox with the x3 and without that adapter.

Get in contact with the ppl u got it off, if u got it from a modchip company they should have shipped it. You need the adapter so u can boot in recovery mode and disable the mod so id get onto them quick.

But if u cant be botherd with that, xecuter australia sells X3 spare parts.
