The time wont stay set

Ok First off I am a total and complete noob. Modding my box is totally new to me (although it's not as hard as I gave it credit for) Now here's my prob...

Every time I turn it on, I need to reset the day and time. Everything else works great on it. Just the time issue.

Oh yeah I have a 1.6 mobo with an xecuter 2.6 SE on it.

mate the xbox all do this theres no backup battery to keep the time after you unplug it

Nope, constant power... (other than turning the xbox off when Im'm done playing, etc...)

so when your finished playing you turn it off at the wall socket?

did you get the protection cord that has the breaker in it? because that is the problem for mine.

No I just mean that I push the front button to turn it off.
