there is no disable mode after installing the x3

o.k this is how it works , i have instaled the x3 and everything seems to be just fine , but i cant get to boot in disable mode , i have locked the hdd and insatlled the ms dashborad on the root of c , so i dont think this is the problem. bt there is a catch in the story, if i load a game from disk and press the eject after , then it will boot in disable mode and everything is as it was in the begining .
please see if you can help

assuming you have tried holding the power button down until it turns red?

Flashing nand to clear AP25 flag.

Hey guys,

Just looking for some confirmation on this. Found this tutorial: http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/topic/351501-how-to-unflag-xbox-360-tutorial-no-j-tag-required/ but I am still a little unsure whether it will work.

From further reading, some people say that in order for it to work at all, you must have a copy of the nand before you were flagged (which I don't), others say that it doesn't matter.

Can someone please confirm either way before I go soldering things onto the motherboard?

no - you dont need the unflagged nand dump

but if you had it - you could have just reflashed the unflagged dump back on there!
