This is a video I posted that shows you do not need the yellow wire on the nandx to read or write to the xbox.

Thank you for your time.

Lmao Ok then However I doubt that much people care cause it does not cost much for the yellow wire and if you do install's, you would easily be able to solder them.

There was a post here asking if the yellow wire was needed I said no. They kept posting that it was needed I kept saying it was not. They said to go take a vid the post was closed when I was gone so i posted it hear.

If you do about 10 to 15 JTags/RGH's a week like I do not soldering this wire can save you some time...

extra 5 bucks lol but it cost you nuffin as you pass it on to who you do the rgh for.

you cheap skate:tongue:
If the person I do them for request them I will add them there is no point if they do not have a nand-x themself lol.

I never said it wouldn't work, I said it wasn't advised and that the original poster in that thread should indeed solder it.

Regardless of what was said, he fried his NAND-X.

Personally If I looked for RGH I'd rather go to someone who acutally is so skilled they dont need QSB's or find some to get the qsb also.

No this was mainly for the other person who was saying that I could not do it without it. This is how I do all of my jtags and RGH's and I have never broke one of my nandx.

Surely you can see the confusion and damage that can be caused by telling people you don't need it, granted it can be done without, but it's there for a reason and if you don't use it you run the risk of frying your NAND X. TX create these products for us to make things as safe and simplistic is possible, why mess with the formula?!?

It doesn't always work. I've tried this a couple of times myself and it's hit and miss. Therefore it's a no-brainer to solder it anyway since it's a GND point.

this topic is madness.. the yellow wire is there for a reason and i wouldnt advise people not to bother soldering it whilst reading or writing to there nand. thou this point can be a pain in the ass to solder to sometimes on the phats as the solder is alot harder and needs a higher temp to melt i still always use it. so just cos the OP posted a vid with nand x working with out yellow wire connected id say take the extra minute and use it as recommended by the TX tut.. no point in cutting corners
