Hiya fellas,i'm hoping someone might be able to help with my despair here lol.I've got my hands on a 2007 Zephar HDMI 360 ( Halo 3 limited edition ) and the drive what's in it,is an Hitachi 79 version ( stock & unflashed ).
My motherboard i'm having to use is an Asus a8n-sli premium/Nforce4 chipset and running Windows 7 32xbit as my Asrock K8 Upgrade stopped working. Now my problem is,is when i connect this Hitachi 79 to my motherboards SATA and connect my trusty CK3 Lite and run Jungleflasher my system freezes for a while then it crashes to the blue screen of death. When i connect to my VIA card ( with the VIA drivers removed of course ) Jungleflasher can't even detect this Hitachi drive what so ever.
I've re-installed the Nforce4 drivers ( vista ones in Compatibility mode as there's no windows 7 drivers for this chipset ) but i can't understand why it keeps crashing my system to the blue screen of death.
Any help would be really awsome from you fellas, thanks indeed

Thanks Martin but i've followed the JF tut to the letter, removed VIA card drivers from the Windows/System32/Drivers folder, restarted my computer and JF still doesn't detect this drive

UPDATE: i switched over SATA cables and now JF can see my drive at last ( must have been a faulty cable i was using at first ),can i ask if i still need to use "Free Flash" in JF to flash the LT+3.0 firmware to this drive.Again i'm using my CK3 Lite kit and connected to my VIA Card instead of my onboard SATA
