Ok guys I've done lots of reading I'm starting to confuse myself now!!

Is this all I need? (applologies ifvthis is at the bottom of a thread somewhere - but I don't know what I've read or I haven't now!!)

This is all you need ;)


  1. NAND-X (with v3 code)
  2. NAND-X to CoolRunner JTAG Cable
  3. TX CoolRunner
  4. USB key (Formatted to FAT32|you wish if you want to use this)
  5. Fine tip soldering iron
  6. Solder
  7. Flux
  8. PHAT or Slim QSBs(depends on motherboard version)
  9. Soldering Experience


    BL4K3Y Beat me to this !

For me..

If you have it stickied this is what you need and where to get it from like bl4k3y done it saves searching and searching and searching.
It's a good place to have it then you get the bits of kit you need then you have a link to the install.

I can't be the only one thinking what else.......!

When now you gurus have said BANG you need this!! Nothing more nothing less.

Somebody else obviously felt the same way coz it got a thanks no less than 1/2 hr after posting?

What you're missing here is when you search and search, you actually pick up other tidbits of information along the way. It's been proved time and time again that spoonfeeding people just leads to more spoonfeeding.

If the thought of searching a forum puts you off doing any console modifications, get someone else to do it. There's more than enough information on this site to do an RGH successfully, as proven by many others.

Fact is, if you don't know what kit you need, you've not read the guides properly.
