Thompson DVD drive question

my dvd drive is very, very noisy. when i pu tin the disc it makes like a noise that the disc is rubbing against it. i think it is the motor is getting weak or something, if anyone knows how to fix the noise of the dvd drive, that would be awesome, if not, i'll just buy a dvd drive off lamma. any idea how to get the dvd drive out of the caddy thingy btw? thanks

I think the noise your hearing is just the thompson drive being gay, I have one too and it makes weird sounds all the time.

xboxes arent that much buy a new one and switch the drive...then you have a spare xbox also.....

Yes if you are even thinking of getting a new drive...Just go get a new xbox, which will most likely come with the samsung drive!!! If you try to buy one they are around $80.00...New xbox $129.99.....Personally after I have already wasted my money on buying a new samsung....I would recommend just getting the new xbox!!!! My 2 cents!!!
