It was a little painful to come here lately and read hundreds of unread new posts while only a little amount of them is really meaningful.

Xecuter, sorry buddy that you have to do so much work. I kind of know how you feel.
I own a forum that mainly focuses on music production. Of coarse it's not 147k members but still a handful.

People start posting same threads over and over again even though it's right there in front of them.
Hate spam, and the spammers.
My forum has an autospam system installed on my vbulletin. Forgot the name of it.

But it takes the thread that a user is trying to post and compares it to other threads, and if it has a match
it puts it into moderation queue instead of posting it up for the public.
You then can eighter approve or deny it. Helps me out alot.
