Alright, wanted to ask a pretty simple question but here's the scoop. I have a old Xenon that still works perfectly to this day, along with a perfectly fine 47DJ Hitachi drive. I only play backups these days (no I don't pirate, I'm a collector and will eventually resell my collection).
Anyway, LT+2.0 dropped today with no support for my drive regarding XGD3 backups. And on c4evaspeaks there doesn't seem to be any intention of supporting my drive in the future.
So my question is, should I fork out money and buy a new 360 (Jasper Fat), or should I wait and see if my old Hitachi 47 eventually gets LT+2.0 support? Does anybody feel that these older drives will get supported or is everybody still using them basically out of luck?
