Tinfoil Error

Hi,

when i start tinfoil i get error 2016-0602. How do I solve this?
I went into Album/homebrew/Tinfoil 8.10 installer, then when I start Tinfoil i get "found corrupt data..." with the above error code.

Your SD card is in which format? exFAT?

You can try to go to Settings > Data Management and you delete all Tinfoil data.

Go to the official Tinfoil website and download again the latest version (v8.10 I think)
Replace your current Tinfoil Installer by the new one in "switch" folder of your SD card, and delete the "tinfoil" folder.

Try to install it again through Album > Homebrew > Tinfoil Installer.
Then launch it from the home menu. Don't forget to accept the update at first launch if you use a Mariko or Lite console.

Thanks dude, i got it working now...but I think with SX OS there is no need to have tinfoil anymore?

Are you sure?
I use Tinfoil to install games by USB, to download/install small games directly from shops (JITS), and to check if there are some new updates for my installed games.
All of this, you cannot natively do it with SX OS.
