1st: FLUX ...'nuff said.

2nd: Get a nice Goot soldering iron with a Temperature control and tiny tip (<1mm preferable)

3rd: clean dust off board, scrape with knife, clean again

4th: dont strip 10cm off the insulation. only 5mm is more than enough

5th: Tin with solder

6th: Use a 63/37 solder. It doesnt have a liquid phase so joints are strong and you wont get try joints.

optional: Get some solder paste (Mechanics Solder Paste), dip wires into it, solder. Done.

Please dont screw up your slims because of improper tools or solder.

Cheers

5th: Tin with solder
Sorry, but my thought was : "Tin what, your fingers?"

The people who know how to solder don´t need those tips, and the ones who don´t know how to solder will not know what you mean by "tin with solder".

I don´t think that this will help people
