Tomb Raider is the UK's No. 1 for a second week, holding strong against a three-pronged challenge of new releases including God of War: Ascension. After storming to the country's biggest launch of the year last week, a rebooted Croft hangs tough to ensure Tomb Raider becomes the second 2013 game to retain its crown, despite a 72 percent sales drop. That means the PS3-exclusive God of War: Ascension only manages the runner-up spot in its debut week, swinging ahead of fellow new releases StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm and Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 in third and fourth place. SimCity deconstructs into fifth in its second week, while Crysis 3 makes it four weeks in the top ten, down now in eighth. Sharp drops for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 see the Japanese-developed duo prop up the top 20 in 19th and 20th.

Top 10 UK Software Sales (All Formats); week ending March 16:

  1. Tomb Raider
  2. God of War: Ascension
  3. StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm
  4. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2
  5. SimCity
  6. FIFA 13
  7. Far Cry 3
  8. Crysis 3
  9. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
  10. Sims 3: University Life

Id have to agree with martin way too short, multiplayer not too bad the only thing that makes the campaign a bit longer is the collectibles and challenges hopefully a good reboot for more to cine.

I think Im About halfway through it,only get Chance to play when kids in bed lol
Same here mate it's a good game but feels more like your playing a movie all roads lead to the same path if that makes sense. I prefer the puzzles of the old tomb raiders. But graphically it is stunning.

RAGE suffered the same fate - awesome game, the frame rate made it smooth as silk but way too short single-player.

Then again, maybe I'm just spoiled with games like Borderlands 2.... :)

Borderlands 2 is a good mix of FPS and RPG. Accept missions, complete and turn in. Pick up weapons as you go. Axton is a good character to start with as his sentry gun is badass.
