WOW, thanks for pointing out the obvious. No offense, I have searched, seems people are confused themselves. Why dont you make you post count rise up supplying the answer instead of thread crapping. Thank again for you attempt.halomaster7777 said:Yeah umm read other posts.

Thanks m8, That helps. The thing is that I find confusing is the different opinions about witch FlashBios works with 1.6b. I have a couple of chips and I doing a 1.6b install. Seemed like in the earlier installs, the x3 said flashbios 2.0.1 or something. So I hope I will have no problems. Can this be confirmed?Tokra said:I think the only real difference is the RAM chips used on the mobo. All versions 1.0 - 1.6 use Samsung. The 1.6b uses some other cheaper brand (Hynix I think).

Yep, you have probably got a chip with 3.0.1 preinstalled. You must have 3.0.3Speed11 said:Yea, I just installed the chip. When I boot it, the xbox led is solid green but no video. When I press the power button for a second to disable it, The box boots fine. Is this a prety solid clue that I need to flash it with FlashBios 3.0.3.
Yay, got the chip successfully flashed with FlashBIOS 3.0.3, I also flashed the Xecuter v16 bios to the chip on the v1.1 xbox. Placed the chip in the 1.6b and boom. Xecuter rox my box. Now im decising while Im at if to flash my other X3's just I case I get some other customers that have a 1.6b. You can download it here: http://www.teamxecuter.com/index.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=6
You will not be able to reflash it on the 1.6b though, you will have to put the chip into a 1.0-1.6 and flash both Bank1 and the BackupBank, then reinstall it back into the 1.6b and you should be right. Hope this helps![]()
BTW, thanks for the support there. I know how that can be on forums. Some people just really feel like being part of the problem instead of the solution. Peace out br0.TexT12 said:I'm on your side Speed11.That was a stupid response...If you had searched correctly, you would have found your answer
Look no one is MAKING you respond to posts... if you don't want to help this person because you have helped someone else in the past don't post.
Let them talk to people who want to help.
