ahhh the things we can get away with at wally-world. i talked to a guy that worked as a manager there once and he said they definitely take back 5-year old computers on a regular basis.

I know this is a little off topic, but that post mentioning Wal-mart reminded me of my buddy. It has to be the funniest wal-mart story.
A buddy of mine had a barcode making program. So he went to wal-mart and did some homework to find 2 similar things that were very differently priced. He decided on a b-b-gun. One of them was 120 dollars, and another was 11. He went home, printed up the barcode for the $11 one, went back, and put it on the $120 gun. Bought it for 11 something and went to another Wal-mart and returned it for 120 something. It was halarious.

That story rang a bell - sounds a lot like this.

That's funny... I actually did a simaler thing myself with my PSOne. I was soldering the modcip in and didn't notice the gob solder on the back of the soldering iron... well it broke off and bridge the leads on one of the chips. My PSOne wouldn't boot up anymore. So I took out the chip, put it altogether, cleaned up the bottom so you cna't tell it was opened. And I took it back to K-Mart up here in Canada. I told them I didn't like it and wanted to get my Gameboy instead. So they gave me my money back. I then went over to Wal-Mart and bought a new PSOne. Well I modded it and and it's been working perfectly ever since. LOL. I also have a modded Saturn too... I'm glad I never messed up that Install.. but it's not hard... only 2 wires to solder... which reminds me.. I should play some Panzer Dragon Saga again.
