hi, i just recently payed someone 40$ to install a mod chip for me, it was a electronic store. he installed it and i didnt work at all, i took it back, he installed it again and said if it doesnt work this time, its not my fault, it is the modchip that isnt working. so he isnaalled it that time and the it fraged. is there anyone in toronto ontario that would be able to fix this cheap?

well, if you're up for paying another 40 bucks, I'll basically re-do the installation for you. I'm pretty sure I can get it working, unless the guy who originally did it really goofed; and if he did, I'll only charge you say 30 for looking at it/trying.

Questions about the Wave versions
Hello, I was wondering since I am strapped down to 2 DVD Dual layer discs to get a burnt game to work on my modded 360, If I were to get say, a Wave 6 disc, would waves 1,2,3,4, and 5 work with that same disc? or am I screwed on that?

Err, It was a example, okay say a Wave 4 disc would it work on a wave 2 game? My understanding is that, if you have a Wave 3 game you have to have a Wave 3 disc to start it. So basicaly could the Wave 4 disc start a Wave 2? I hope that makes more sence to you.

i think you are very mistaken on how waves work
first of all, waves are specific to the original xbox game it was ripped from, that wave number (which is really just a title for a partition size) is carried over into the iso file.
then you burn that to DVD DL
so no "locking" into disc type

What do you mean? I was under the impression you need a trigger disc for the Wave game you have, I was just wondering if I can use a higher wave for them all, so I dont need 1 for every wave. What I can understand of what you said is that my question is a no? Sorry I am still very new to this, yesterday I finaly got some dual layer discs, actually 2 from a freind, so I modded my xbox this morning, and it still reads games, so now I wanna make shore it reads the burnt games.

I have Ixtreme 1.51 because my drive is a Hitachi. I called it a trigger disc because it has to be put in, then put the burnt disk in, a freind of myn got his modded thats why I knew about the disk before I started this, do you have MSN by chance? maybe we can just msn and make this easyer since I am still really confused about this and have questions? If you do and can do that PM me with your msn please.
