Toshiba HDD sx issue

Ok so I have a toshina external harddrive and I formatted it to exFAT. I made a folder named sx on the root and inside that folder made a folder called games and I placed my nsp and xci files in it but when I plug it up to my switch nothing pops up

Have you tried opening SX Installer and seeing if you can see them in there?

From my understanding, it’s hit or miss with external hard drives support. Some users have no issues and some have issues.

Yea i have and I dont see them there so I guess I need to format it to fat32

I know that only this type of folder structure is accepted:

• /sxos/games
• /sxos/xci
• /sxos/nsp
• /sxos/updates
• /sxos/dlc
• /sxos
• /switch/games
• /switch/xci
• /switch/nsp
• /switch/updates
• /switch/dlc
• /switch

Try to rename "SX" folder you made to "SXOS" and leave the drive formated as exFat
