Toshiba Samsung TS-H943 - MS25 drive won't always open

Hi all
New to this so I checked through many pages and can't find he solution, this drive when you hit the open tray does not always work with it apart you can jiggle the door and it will spool out and back in but it would be a pain with it back together. I was told there is a fix for this but not given the answer how to do it , can anyone tell me how to fix this and is any brand of thermal paste better than any other for the heat-heatsink issue. make sure every thing is lined up right.i had a old v25 that right after i hit the eject i would have to tap the drive door for it to open.

use a goos thermal compound on the chip

Thanks for the info, I was told there was a fix for the drive by filing down something maybe I just got bad info

looks as though you know lots more about these than I so I figure you're right especially since I have not found any thing on it, I did turn the motor a quarter turn in case there are burned spots on the armature just to be on the safe side since it's a mechanical stop on both ends I figure might as well try it. Will take out the X's also since it's apart as soon as I can find the nylon washers
