Total Newbie With the 360, Requesting Help.

Hi, I am wondering if someone could give me some info on flashing my 360.

Its a release date model, with a Hitachi drive, that is all the info i know about it, and i have read Hacking the 360 for noobs, and its a great guide. If i could understand half of it, Im not a pc noob, or anything, im just not used to DOS or anything.

Anyway, i am wondering what kind of Firmware or something i should to be able to play copied games, and such, i dont use live, dont need it since im not into MP that much.

I just need some help, in really dumb turms, what the best type of firmware is, and how to install it with mimimal risk.

Any help would greatly helpful, thank you.

Anyone going to offer me help? I have read Textbooks tut, and its great and all, but i dont understand half of it.

If someone could just explain in laymans turms, what it all means, it would be greatly helpful.

Well if you've read Textbook's tutorial and you don't understand half of it then you shouldn't be attempting to flash your 360 yourself. Textbook's tutorial is meant for noobs so it's already written in laymans terms, it really can't get explained any better then he already has it in there.

You can always have someone flash it for you, send Textbook a PM to arrange to have him do it.
