Total noob needs help :(

Hi everyone i need help really badly first of all i have flashed the X3 v3.03 bios fine and the xecuter rox my xbox cums up, but! it then says on a black screen "Xecuter 3 not detected", I am using Xecuter 3 CE with the Xapt3r. Would it be better to solder the chip in because i have checked my chip and all of the points are very well connected.

yes solder it in works better check that it is on right it may look right but is not
you should of used x3 3294 bios as well

Thank you very much i was using the wrong bios lol i'm such a noob, one more thing how do i play backup games and things do i have to reboot to the normal dashboard? oir can i get another dashboard i heard about something called evolution X

get download auto installer delux 3 that will install a dash for you
in x3 bios dash find disable x3 config dash on bootup and disable it

HI again sorry to bother u again you've been great help but i downloaded the auto installer and burnt the ISO to a CD-RW which is compatible with my Thompson DVD drive and i have disabled the auto X3 config dash on startup but i cant get the CD to boot, is there a special place that it needs to boot in or am i being a complete twat an missin sumthin?

If the cd can be read by your drive, it will boot itself when you put it in.

Put the disc in and when you turn on the xbox it should auto boot unless you have it turned off on your bios, but then I think it should still boot anyway.

aah! its still not booting an i've checked the bios its not disabled the booting process I am using both TDK CD-RW & Sony DVD+RW

Thompsons don't like very many discs. dvd-r are your best bet. You may have to try several different types. Did you make the iso correctly?

as long as your backup works power eject at same time flash the another bank with the x2 bios and see if that work to boot dvd
