Hi. I just got my xbox mod'd w/ the x3 chip it looks great. Well I think so. I just realized I don't know what the heck I'm doing...

Aka, how do I boot into it, etc? It basically just boots up normally or onto a game disc if I put one in.

I read the noob guide at http://home.comcast.net/~x3guide/ which is awesome but it seems like I need an even more basic start up section. Any ideas?

Have you flashed your BIOS with the X3 BIOS? The default is FlashBIOS ... if you haven't flashed it yet it will boot to a blue screen with FlashBIOS at the top.

Once you've got it flashed then you need to download and install a dashboard...the site you've been reading through has guides for all of that

well theres still a chance u can get an easy moddable one. The oldest ones ive seen are the arcades manufactured on june of last year i helped a friend buy one and it was the first 83liteon drive we got it at bestbuy.
