Here is a general question. While in the process of desoldering someones messup I broke one of the traces on the MoBo next to the D0. I put the xbox back together with the chip in it and it works fine or so it seems. If i put it all the way back together with leaving a break in the trace will it cause me any problems in the future or is it no big deal? Your opinion is much appreciated. I tried to attach a picture to point out the one that is messed up.

All of the traces on the motherboard are impoortant.

Maybee the trace you damaged is not in use at startup.

Try using all of the features of the xbox
Games/audio/memory

The lifted trace will cause problems somewhere , But finding them may take some time.

If you can, Follow the trace in both directions until you get to the pads.

If you can, Bridge the two pads with some very thin wire , This will replicate the function of the trace itself.

I see what your saying about the importance of all the traces. The silver point next to the D0 solderpoint actually came off. What I was wondering is if it connects to something on the other side of the board, because if not just bridgeing the two points is easy enough. Thanks
