Transfer programs from PC to Xbox?

Okay this is a very noob question...

Normally I would transfer programs etc via local network router to Xbox 360.

What if I had to take pc and xbox somewhere without a network can I just use a network cable pc to Xbox?!?

you could connect directly if you statically set the IP address of the computer and xbox on the same subnet. Or you could just transfer whatever you needed to with a thumb-drive/removable storage. I'd probably go with the later, it's a little easier and faster.

Alot us a program called content Manager ..for games and XEX menu Also once you have XEX installed I just a simple flash drive or USB hard drive to install anything and everything
