Transfer saved games from my JTAG to my RGH?

Hi folks

So my falcon JTAG is now 100% dead, and has taken a few saved games with it, most annoyingly my Batman Arkham City save. The good news for me is that I now have a fully working slim RGH'd and playing everything, and I've installed Batman to it. Is there a way I can move the saved game across from my old HDD to the new one and continue playing? I have a new profile with the same gamer tag but it's a different dash (13604 on the rgh, 13146 on the JTAG) if that matters. I have the cables to extract the data etc from the old console, so I just need to know if there's a software solution. Thanks.

If you have a transfer cable, connect your phat hdd to it and stick it in your slim and press Y to transfer content.

Failing that, open the phat hdd enclosure and pop it into your slim, format a usb drive to a MU and transfer to that, swap out your old hdd and put your slim one back in.

Option 1 being the easiest with a cable!

Not that I have ever noticed...only issue is if you are using a different profile to that original save

If you are over cautious I guess you could use modio or horizon to set the ID for your new console but seems like a lot of work for nothing IMO. I still have saves for old stuff that I play on occasion from my first xbox that RRoD - now on my 9th/10th with loads of different console ID's...

Ah, now that's a worthwhile thought; my old JTAG is banned, my new slim isn't. So now what? Also, although I have the same profile NAME on my new console, it's not the same profile that was on my old box - I just booted the new 360, created a new profile with all the same details & away I went. Is this relevant?

If it is a new profile, there shouldn't be any issues.

OK, just so others are kept informed; I managed to get my old saves working, but I had to get the Profile ID, Device ID, and Console ID from a save I had on my new console, then replace the old ID's on my old saves using Horizon. Wouldn't work for me otherwise. It may work out diffferently for others with different circumstances, but this got 'em working fast . Thanks for suggesting Horizon though, as Modio wouldn't mod the console ID, only the other 2.
