I was thinking of ways to speed up installs with the new scripting system and was wondering if it would be possible to transfered saves to the memory stick without having to format the thumbdrive. Perhaps there would be an XICS setting that checked if the HDD was stock and if yes then it would transfer the saves. Basically, this is what I'm thinking of:
1) Install X3 and X3 Bios (With Stock Hard drive still in)
2) Plug in Thumbdrive, Transfer Saves
3) Plug in New Hard Drive
4) Plug in the Thumbdrive, have XICS kick in and transfer all the save game files back after formatting the hard drive, doing all that awesome stuff that XICS does.
Does this make sense? Is it feasible?
