It might be easier if you put Avalaunch on both xbox's. Then do the auto negotiate IP with a crossover cable. I did that all the time @ lan parties.

I'm with FreAk on this one. I also use avalaunch, with the auto-negotiate IP, and it works like a charm. (Don't forget the crossover cable if you aren't using a router!)

Blaster Kit

I bought a Blaster kit a while back, but my 360 broke prior to installing it. I sent it in under warranty, and now I have 2 working xboxes. One has a benq and teh other has a lite-on.

I believe that I need to buy something extra to make it work with either one of these drives, but I can not remember, and I can't find it anymore.

Now, there is the Blaster ck3 which will work with everything, but I don't want to buy a new kit. Any suggestions?

Re: Blaster Kit

the blaster kit is only so you dont have to open the xbox next time fw update needed.
you will need a probe or similar for the liteon to retrieve the key the benq you dont need anything extra

Re: Blaster Kit

Ok, I am still very new to this, but I think that I understand it now. I just want to make sure that I understand.

So, I shouldn't need anything for it to work with my benq?

As for the Lite-on, I need to get the key before I can install it, but I can use it on there as well?
