Transferring between hard drives on RGH

I've just upgraded to a larger internal 320GB drive in my RGH, but i'm having a bit of a mare copying everything from it!

From what I've read, a few people have suggested connecting the old drive to the RGH via the transfer cable or the via USBPro, but I've tried both these methods and the drive isn't recognized at all....

Is it possible - if not, apart from (a)losing everything or (b)connecting both drives to a machine and try and copy the data across (tried and the drive crashed....twice...in the middle of copying data over!) or (c) FTP [sooo sloooowww!]; is there anything else i can do?

Best option is to connect an external HDD and using File Manager, transfer the 'Content' folder of your existing HDD to it. Then swap drives and copy it back. Make sure you're signed out of any profiles though.

Cheers Martin - I guess using USB-SATA converters (360 USB Pro or otherwise) was a bit of a red herring then?

It's much easier and far more stable to do the copying on the console itself. Most apps barely handle FATx without crashing, let alone doing full transfers.
