Hello,

Ok I'll start from the beginning about a year ago I Installed an X3 chip
Bios and the slayer auto installer, everything worked great was super happy,
last night I decided to update my apps I installed the latest slayer auto installer again everything worked great, this morning I decided
to install the latest IND bios, I flashed my chip using flashftp and got a
screen saying the bios was installed successfully, I pressed B it took
me to the x3 config screen, everything appeared to be fine, when I tried
to restart my box and it would power on/off 3 times and the eject button
would flash red, but nothing would load and I wasnt able to turn off my box
so I had to unplug it, I played around with it for a bit, read through a few dozen forums, and nothing tried holding down the on and eject button, still nothing, now this is the current situation, everytime I turn on my box it loads into the ms dash only, my external switch has stoped working but the light on the chip itself does light up, I'm lost here could someone please help, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx,
Stan

Flashing the wrong bios can easily be fixed if people test that they have a way to recover if things go wrong. Testing that the backup bios works prior flashing or having alternative banks to flash to.... that is not currently in use....There is no need to use FlashBIOS again once X3CL is on as there is FTP flash and hard drive flash where you can flash to specified banks.

Unless you have a 1.6b and did not update your backup bios, power+eject should work.
Give it a few goes, the X logo should like up purple. It takes a bit of getting use to.

Other than that you can try other switch settings, but you have said your switch does not work?
