tried to Flash X3CE with X3 3294

installed the chip, it works fine, boot with banks off, off, off, off, off ( protection is off on the chip too, it is a green light )
changed the switch to on, on, off, off, off, so I can flash banks 1234
I tried to flash from DVD but I get the message unknown flash! halted
here is how i created the DVD,
got the X3294.rar from #xbins,
unrared, renamed x3294.bin to BIOS.bin and created 100MB dummyfile.bin with the DUmmyFileCreator,
after that I just burned regular DVD with BIOS.bin and DummyFile.BIN on it, but I didn't make it in XboxISO format !
what I do wrong ?
should I make Xbox ISO from BIOS.BIN and DummyFile.bin first ?

very dumb question, when the chip protection light is green what is the state of the protection on or off .... i guess ... green ON - red OFF ?

thats right green ON red OFF
but some chips have been know to be back to frount green OFF red ON only some not all

opened the box, fliped the switch and flashed successfully, so it was disabled the first time, thanks for the response though
