So since updating the console, have you now re-wired for RGH2? As you can see by my RGH Roadmap for noobies, 16203 is a split CB and needs either R-JTAG or RGH2.I don't understand what you're trying to get me to see...I have 2 matching nand backups, the console is on rgh1 as it was 13599 falcon...there's nothing else in that post that really relates to what I'm doing here.
was it the set the coolrunner to program? should I do that while I write with nand x?
ok I get it but why do I need rgh2 if it was originally 13599 because with single nands I always update them to 16203 and leave them wired as rgh1. Is it because of the dual nand? or no I get it because the efuses have changed and now it requires rgh2!!! aha.So since updating the console, have you now re-wired for RGH2? There's a MASSIVE hint there.
Read my LDV sticky.ok I get it but why do I need rgh2 if it was originally 13599 because with single nands I always update them to 16203 and leave them wired as rgh1. Is it because of the dual nand? or no I get it because the efuses have changed and now it requires rgh2!!! aha.
Do you know what a dual NAND is for? What's your aim with this setup?ok one last thing...If I had created a retail image in Jrunner and flashed that to my stock NAND could I have stayed on rgh1?
Read my RGH Roadmap for noobies and LDV sticky as advised. You have too many holes in your knowledge to even start answering your questions.what I want to know is could I have kept my rgh1 setup and had my stock dash on 16203...if so, why did I have to switch over to rgh2 in the first place?
also if my blue led lights on my demon board are lit and my nand x is wired up will I be writing to the demon?
This is exactly what I mean. DemoN installs are for experienced installers. That's not you.maybe cuz it's falcon 5771 on rgh2
seriously? this thread should have been closed about 20 posts ago.but it usually happens like this: Ok I want to install a demon...so I go and read through the demon forum, the problem is it doesn't tell you in the demon forum about little things like the blue leds and whether I'm writing to the demon nand or stock nand..it doesn't tell you about the LDV values which I was aware of but didn't know in detail exactly what would happen. A lot of this stuff you simply run into as you go along, because I do read...a lot.
You can switch Nands in Jrunner and it actually tells you on there what NAND you're writing to. As for blue LEDs that is more common sense - things with LEDs normally lit are showing its on.but it usually happens like this: Ok I want to install a demon...so I go and read through the demon forum, the problem is it doesn't tell you in the demon forum about little things like the blue leds and whether I'm writing to the demon nand or stock nand..it doesn't tell you about the LDV values which I was aware of but didn't know in detail exactly what would happen. You're slipping no reference to the cardIf you dont know what nand your writing to or what nand is active you shouldnt be installing a demon or even be messing with one if im honest
