Tries to boot 3 times.. then nothin

I have have the x2.6 i beleive.. and one of the new versions of xboxes. 1.6 i'm assuming, its less then a year old. I don't know because i had a friend by the xbox and mod it for me outta town.

It has the switch mounted on the front(3 switches).

It will boot fine running without the chip. But when i turn the chip on(blue light on ) it tries to boot 3 times then nothing and the eject button flashes green/red.

I'm not very good with xbox/terminolgy.. but i follow directions well..

Any idea what could be wrong?


It worked before and i might of ****ed it up playing with the settings.. i'm not sure. Just started it up one day and it didn't work.

IF it's a settings issue, you might do ok just restting the chip.
Hold A+B+X+Y all together, then while you're holding them try powering on the Xbox. Hold the buttons until you get passed the "Rox my Box" screen. (IF you get that far.)
