Hi guys,

I've just picked up a box of broken 360s (3RLOD and Drive issues) with the hopes of finding one I can use to play my collection of 360 games. As all of the drives are knackered I'm going to install a CR4 XL in one or 2 of them so I've got a main and a backup.

Aaanyway, in the box was a Trinity slim that won't power up. As seems common you get the beeps but no boot.

Is there anything I can look for (no HDD, checked the USB ports, removed the drive, tries 2 PSUs) before I send it to someone? Can anyone recommend someone I could send it to for repair?

Cheers, Adam

Does the board look like it has ever been soldered onto or an attempt of hacking it e.g. any burnt points ect.

Thanks guys. I also noticed last night that the connectors for the HDD and Disc drive on the mobo are "melted"! I'll take some pics tonight and upload them but it looks like some moron might have gone a bit mad with a heat gun trying to fix it before.

If it's dead I'm not too worried, I've got a few phats to be going at (once I can get some more QSBs), but a Trinity would have been nice :)
