I have a Slim trinity to RGH, I'm on 14699 now. My question is:

If I use J-Runner, latest version, how much can I go up? 14717 / 14719 or should I stay to 14699?

Thanx

If you are RGHing then stick to 14699 till you get it done. No risk of changing your cb by accident. (not likely anyway but avoid any risks).

Just get it done on 14699 the other dashes don't offer anything to the rgh user anyway. Worry about updating later on when a new dash worth having arrives.

J runner will cope with any of the dashes listed anyway as long as you have your cpu key

From what I understand, you need to RGH it at the 14699 dash in order to obtain your CPU Key. After that you can use your original dumps and key to create the future images. J-Runner supports the latest dash.

I have a similar situation. The only difference is I am on dash 12625, ldv of 1.
this is brand new box. I have installed Coolrunner, dumped nand, created ecc, flashed ecc, booted to xell reloaded. Got key.

Now
what dash do I need to build and flash?I am using jrunner 262.
My guess is to select RGH image dash. 12699.

Also should I check the dashlaunch box? If so What settings in the ini?

Thanks for any advice, I have searched extensively and this was the closest thread I could find.

Randyx, stick to 14699 for now, TX team will "solve" the higher dashes pretty soon I think.

I built a 14699 and flashed with j-runner. It boots up to a 14699 dash, But when ever i put it a kinect disk, it say it needs an update, I put the 14699 $$ystemupdate folder on the USB but it would instal.
I put an FSD folder on the USB and it will boot into freestyle, but still asks for the Updates.

any ideas?

Thanks, I finally go it to update.

I had been trying all standard ways to get the updates to load as you suggested in the links.

What finally worked was I re read my nand, set all the dash launch setting off. built glitch 14699 again re-flashed the nand, booted into standard dash put in usb with dash 14699 in a $systemupdate folder. This time it found and installed the updates,
Thanks again

i believe the console doesn't change/raise the cb/fuses if your console is already RGH-ed and you install the latest dash (glitched) using j-runner.

so install coolrunner/rgh using 14699 or lower and then install whatever dash you want.

please correct me if i'm wrong.
