Hi guys I have a trinity board as title says no mods done no rgh.
You can turn on and it will last about 5 mins then turn off, and you can't turn back on just beeps.
ive reflowed to no avail my question is....on the the phat xbox there was a trace you could cut for the temperature sensor when in dire straits,
is there one on the trinity board? If there is my plan is to cut trace then test to see if the slim lasts longer
if not to resolder the trace.

thanks for your help guys

I use a razor blade from a safety razor. You just need to be very careful. I have mine cut to a small size and wedged into the end of an exacto handle.

This is what the CPU should look like after:IMG_0647-smaller.jpg

ive actually had the exact same issue on a trinity a few months back. this unit had a faulty hana so when i had the motherboard plugged in it got realy hot and when it got to hot the motherboard shut off without any red lights and would only do the ding sound when i tried to fire it back up. do i have to say that a hana replacement fixed the issue?
