GENERAL Trinity DGX 1 Minute or Less

I did four Trinity DGX this weekend, the first being stubborn until I tried the following wiring method. I then tried this exact method on the next console with great results, did the last two with nearly identical results. All booted in under one minute. One was instant.

Required....
70CM Kynar POST coiled around XClamp
10-12CM RST standard wire to FT4R2
One sticky note to protect against shorts :)

You can also try 50-100CM (generally 50, 60, 70, 80, 90) Kynar POST cable if 70CM doesn't work. Once you get the right cable length/setup it should glitch within a minute.

Three used 10CM RST
One used 12CM RST

Nice use of the sticky note ;) After all the positive feedback on 70cm wire, I may have to lengthen mine from 50..I get under a minute boots every time, Trinity and Corona, but if you got instant on at least one console with a slightly longer wire, it's worth trying. The less time getting keys, the less time spent on any given console, always a good thing.

If it was designed and tested more to be an instant glitch (which I doubt would have ever happened), you would still get the haters and those asking what to do next (that sounds familiar on this forum actually) lol.

I used the standard wire set on a Trinity the other day and it booted in about 25 seconds.

All I did was swap the yellow and blue wires (yellow on CPU_RST and blue on POST_OUT).

That's an identical setup to what I used. One went in about 5 mins, the other took 2 hours.

Just an FYI :)
As we all know every board is different however this did work great on the four I did.

When you say 2 hours, did you leave it on 2 hours or it took two hours of work to get the key? For me if it doesn't glitch to Xell in the first 5 minutes I start over, after a few power cycles still no luck I start changing wires. I will always start with this wiring method first though.

BTW I test board with WiFi and ROL, out of cage.

Now.. I haven't used my dgx but wanted to know if with this setup did you use the comm to see xell or did you use hdmi? I know that its always said to use the usb comm but was just curious not seeing that wiring on your pics. I'm waiting for my kynar wire to come in.

You can get Kynar wire at RadioShack if you are in the USA, you can try with standard 50CM and see how that goes.

For Trinity I usually just do Xell on screen, may hook up COM just to be safe, just depends how I do it on that particular day. For Trinity Xell on screen is fine.

To be super safe you would do all three method.

I use HTTP unless I am installing QSBs.

HTTP works just as well as COM and if I don't get video output for XeLL, I simply check my router's "Connected Clients" page for "XeLL" :).
