I've looked at every thread here and tried I'm pretty sure every length and method. System just quits glitching and fans rev up and random times. Attached are photos and Jrunner log.

Note* Using an old Nand X slim QSB. Not sure if this is a problem or not. I ran the 5.5v to the underside of the board to get power.

Use COMMS or Scan ip but for some reason earlier today when i was RGHHING a TRINITY neither COMMS nor Scan ip were working i had to manually write down the cpu key. Nevertheless use a 55cm standard blue wire on POST OUT and 13cm standard blue wire on FT4R2. I've done three TRINITY's using this setup, http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showpost.php?p=717973&postcount=136.

Tried that already, along with scan ip. I have not tried Coms. I don't wanna hack my cable up lol.

post out dont look so hot from pics.

Will look in to it.

Thanks.

Your post out pad is burned/lifted, you will have to use the topside alt point or the tx corona post fix adapter (yes it works on trinitys too.....) with that being said and post out the way it is does your dgx green light blink?

Personally i use the black ground wire (11cm) for cpu reset and a 90cm post out wire.

Looks like 2 qsb points are bridged, below the circle TX logo...

Tried that wiring method as well. TX not bridged. Must have been the angel of the camera. Yes I get the green light blicking, beleive it or not, thats how the pad looked from factory. Will try the post fix adapter though

I assume you read this post for suggestions to try HERE

Ok, i bet if you goto solder another wire to that post out point you will find it hard to do. If you don't wanna use the alt point or post fix adapter and your post out wire is working now, leave that wire soldered to post out and solder your new post out wire onto that one that way you don't risk ruining that pad and HAVING to use an alt post out.

The post fix adapter just makes soldering easier, or necessary if original point is ruined, ts not gonna help you glitch any better than the original post out point.

tried it. currently using the post fix adapter as well.
Good to know. Persistence is the name of the game with some trinitys, god knows I've had my fair share. What works most of the time is taking someone else's successful setup and tweaking it until you finally glitch. It can be a pain but luckily you only need it to boot once.

I had one weird one that needed a super short cpu reset wire (just long enough to reach) for it to boot. Keep trying you will get it eventually ! Good luck!

It seems so random on the fan spinning and what I think is clicking I suppose. Anyhow, seems like sometimes the fan with go ape sh*t after say 5 minutes with a long wire, but if I shorten it, it will click sooner, and vice verce, currenty at the original wiring and it's doing it's thing. I've been at this for what seems like hours now.

Cold solder joint on the damn qsb is the culprit. Just had one hell of a time writing the orig nand back. After an hour or more of failed attempts I found a cold joint on the QSB.

At this point I don't even wanna glitch it lol.

Not sure if this is too late, but I had a Trinity on 16202 last night that did more or less the same; green light for about 3-4 times, then the fan went faster. Tried a few suggestions from the other thread but all resulted in more or less the same behaviour. Finally added the yellow wire (from the phat wires) to a blue wire (from the slim wires) and just that on postout. 4 glitches and presto, Xell :) Used 10cm wire on CPU_RST.

Took me an hour to get this right, customer was getting anxious but insisted to stay. Think he was even more relieved to see it glitch than I was ;)

Getting the same problem on my trinity. Will try to use your wire lengths and we'll see how it goes :)
