Hey guys,

Just a quick one, in the FAQS it says to "(unplug the power brick for 30 seconds)". Does this mean unplug the brick from the mains or am i ok just unplugging the power from the xbox side?

It doesn't matter. You're resetting the power on the console.

How did you go mate? I have one here doing the same thing. Except at 80cm it just keeps glitching and doesnt tick. Anything under it does tick. From what I gather, it means its close and just need to do the hard reset and maybe some wire tweaking. I will Try later this afternoon

hi. i used the phat ground cable to the alt point for D and for C point i used green phat cable (not cut) soldered to slim blue cable (not cut) and wrapped around the fan.

I had a trinity that kept doing this for near a week and i was almost finished trying til i did this setup and within 30secs i had my cpu key through the NETWORK.

It is really annoying but trying different cables etc is the best way, i tried different sizes from 120cm down to the smallest i could get it and nothing so its not always gonna work with the sizes, its the cables used that count too.

Some might say I'm talking bull but it does clearly say their all different to their own and different setups required for different timing cause their not the same. lucky you lot with just different cable sizes tho :).

Hope this helps you mate. I will post a video of my setup when i get the time cos the second it booted for me i turned it off and started recording a video while rebooting it back up as prove lol.

Thanks for all your responses guys, tbh i have left it alone for a few days because i was doing nothing else for days on end. Gonna have another look tonight but its defiantly all down to cable lengths imo.

I can make it to the fan clicking in under a minute pretty much every time now but unplugging the power from the xbox, waiting 15-30 seconds still does the same thing. It just refuses to go! I'm thinking about changing the cable lengths about 1 cm at a time to see how that goes, of course i will return and let you all know how i get on :)

Yeah, the way I look at it is the fan clicking lets you know your soldering is good. Then it's just a matter of finding the right wire lengths to get the glitch going.
