Hello all, I have a new project the guy says it's a 4g slim and according to the mobo identification chart it's a trinity. Does the trinity require a 4g r/w kit or only coronas?

On a trinity the 4GB is an extra circuit board attached to the motherboard, it is easily removable, and is only used for MU purposes, with a 16MB nand on the motherboard for the system software.

It's a 10.83a on a/c adapter, what's the benefit to removing the 4g? The customer doesn't use live I was just going to rgh with FSD!!

you should see the amps on the console not the AC adapter its typed beside the MFR date and no need to remove the 4g MU

If you remove it there will be no onboard 4GB mu. There is really no benefit to having it, or not having it. The only consoles that having a 4GB nand will change things are Caronas. and all that changes then is how you read/write the nand, and the fact that the 4GB caronas cannot use the demon.
