RGH trinity nand won't dump! (lpt Method)

okay i've got trinity i am trying to rgh on 16537 with CR rev C. and i am trying to dump it's nand with the lpt printer but i always the "flash controller not found" i've redone the wiring several times I have a 1n4148 diode on pin 11 with the cathode(black line) towards the motherboard. also i have no 100ohm resistors. are the 100ohm resistors mandatory.

all help is appreciated!

I'd advise you to buy a Nand-x or jr-programmer as LPT is not very reliable.

I also advice you to get a nand-x, or a jrp v1 or v2 especially if you want support. You wont get any help with your Diy LPT problems.

LPT methods dont work on all pc's. try adjusting your lpt port settings in bios but asa previously suggested.

Just buy an SPI nand reader. There not expensive and will save you the massive headache for trying to get lpt working, not to mention the 20 odd minutes it takes to read the nand (per read, and you should dump at least 3 times to get a good dump)
