Hey guys, i need some help here please...
So, i installed the Coolrunner and flashed it with Trinity timing files correctly. I installed the nand-x qsb and soldered everything up perfectly.
My trinity was working great up until the other night when i decided to start messing with it like an idiot.
I decided to do what is mentioned in this guide........... http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76581
and was stupid enough not to read it through and realize that i shouldn't solder to the switched 3.3V. So i decided to go back to the way it was....... that's when things went wrong...
So the console never booted on the switched 3.3V, just tried to glitch then red light at front. The correct power point on the QSB wasn't giving power anymore so just in case, i desoldered it and hard wired the coolrunner directly onto the board.
The soldering went well and i'm getting constant power from the correct point...... but the xbox still won't boot into my freestyledash 2.2.
1: I flashed the original nand back onto the mobo and she booted immediately into the retail dash.
2: I then re-flashed the modified dash i was using back onto the mobo and still the same problem, just tries to glitch then red light on front.
3: I also re-flashed the timiny files for the Trinity onto the coolrunner again, just to be sure.

So now i'm stuck and don't know what to do.
Can anyone PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE help me fix this??

Thanks

Pred

And a pic. I've been soldering for a few years so i'm quite confident in my skills.
I'm no soldering master but i'm not a noob either.

Your kidding right? That solder isn't very good. IS the green light even blinking? Also check your STBY_CLK Could be bridging the way you have the wiring.

Okay saw the video. Its going to be your soldering or your nand image. Have you got xell to boot?

Like i said, i'm no soldering master but i did discover something. When i disconnected the dvd drive, it boots fne. When i reconnect it, it won't boot. i'm gonna redo the connections again and pay sure close attention to the points. Maybe the dvd drive was slightly pushing down the stby_clk wire

Ok, so i got it working again last night. I tried removing all the solder i had put on and carefully put the QSB back in, soldered to it and she booted.
Now the only issue i have is inconsistent booting.
I hear about shortening the blue wire (i think) but i'm not sure about how much to shorten it and when to check?
Is it as simple as desolder it, cut a couple of cm, then resolder it and try booting ?????
