Ok, so chip has been working fine.. this happened twice: once yesterday and once today. However, I've only really been working w/ it for 2-3 days.
First time:
So, I edit a map in dothalo, ftp it to my xbox. I'm in avalaunch, and halo 2 is already in the drive. I go up to the top and select the game, and boot it, but then the screen turns black.. I wait about 30 seconds, nothing happens. I hit the power button, and then try to turn it back on, triple reboot problem. From there, I just randomly rebooted it w/ different switch configs, ejecting the cd at different times, etc until finally on one eject, the DVD drive opened, Avalaunch boots, and there is a little window that says something like "fixed invalid time ----", can't remember the last word.
Second time: Same as before, except this time I did the controller reset instead of the power button; flashbios 3.0.3 wouldn't load from bank 2. Everything else happened the exact same way. Same error (fix) message.
Both times the box would boot w/o the chip enabled and both times I would have to reset the time and date in MS dash when I booted w.o the chip.
What's going on?
