trouble ftp to xbox

X3ce. I've flashed the bios with 3029, original hd, but when I try to ftp using cute ftp pro I can't ftp to the xbox but it will let me ftp from the xbox. I installed a wb 160 drive and formated it and tried again still same thing. It says that the files already exist and to replace I click yes to all and it gives me an error(in cute ftp). I've tried different cable and same thing. Then I flashed the bios with evox m1.6 and the xbox dash came up allowing me to play original and backed up games but now there is no ftp connection.

Help

Is it possible to install the drive to my pc and install the dashboard and then install it to my xbox?

the answer to your last question is no, you can't install dashboard on pc since pc and xbox formats are different.

Make use if you have any firewall turned off during use. Additionally, try flashfxp. I used to cuteftp but dumped it fairly quickly soon after I used flashfxp.

IMHO, you get best speed also if you ftp while on X3 config live.
