Install diagrams are spread out for this one. One over there for rebuild board, one over here just wire install, one there for Xaptr, etc..........

When I boot, xbox boots as if no chip is installed no matter what the three switches are set to. If I change the hard drive to an aftermarket, I get the flashing light telling me to call microsoft. The interior LED light is blue, all the other LED lights light up correctly on the slector switch. What is wrong? I don't trust that rebuild board, can I solder all the wires instead of using the board? If so where is the link?

If you are wondering about the BLUE wire, the pad on the rebuild board was torn and wasn't sure if it was good, so I connected the blue wire to complete it. Itried it with adn without the blue wire.

Thank you

resoldered it

I checked the soldering and resoldered it. Now I get the christmas light when the chips is on, it doesn't even boot when the chip is on, Do I have to use the rebuild board? Where is the wiring diagrams for not using the rebuild board. I have never had so many problems with any chip PSX2 etc... DMS3/4. I blame the install directions from TEAMX. Very poor and too many different variations that are not complete.

well I soldered the wires adn took out the rebuild board. Still getting the same error. Christmas light when chip is on. Solder points are good. I repeat, sodler points are good. The chip sux. Should not be sold for 1.6 or 1.6b. I'm going to go on a limb and say I have a bad chip, considering my experience. I should have researched it more. I see all the problems peopel are having and the lack of suport they get from TeamX. Horrible, horrible horrible, directions. It as if someone had 10 ideas and peiced them together on different pages.

check your soldering nere RP7R2
i have to agree it looks like you missed a solider point look were i up the arrow it has to be solidered on both sides

as far as the chip they run fine in 1.6's you just have to take your time and tripple check everything..

Check the switches with a multimeter. Also make sure they are completely plugged in.
