Yes I can see and access them, but there is no default.xex or and executable file for that matter, in any container file.

XEXMenu can't run GoD containers, that's why.
FSD can though, so make sure you have the path in Content Settings as previously mentioned.

Apart from thread hijacking. try this
When a game is converted to GOD format, it is normally put into it's specific 8 digit hexadecimal folder number.
Transfer this folder to the content/0000000000000000 folder.
Then set your path to Content/000000000000000 and set the scan depth to 3.
It should recognise it.
