I have a modchip that im trying to flash using hotswap. Its a x2.6
Turn on the box w/ a flashed 2.6 w/ m8 bios and slayers in the dvd drive.
Slayers boots up.
I switch the mod chip out for the 2.6 modchip i want flashed.
When i press to flash it says done and then unable to write to chip. I have bios protect off. I won't flash. I then try w/ flash protect on and it still doesn't flash.

Am i hotswapping the chip wrong?

Actually, the programmer flashes whatever bios you tell it to, it doesn't return the chip to flashbios.

It may be a bad chip, get a programmer and try to flash it.
