Trying to connect to my X2.6 Via LAN ??

I have connected my computer to my xbox via a crossover cable. I powered my xbox up and selected Flash Bios via LAN. It then assigns a MAC address and then an IP which is 192.168.0.99.

I then go to TCIP/IP Properties of the Local Area Connection in my computer and set the ip to 192.168.0.99.

I then go to IE and type that address in the address bar.. but nothing happens... it loads of a min or so and then says cannot find..

I dont know wat i am doing wrong here so someone plz help !!

that because you have set the pc ip adress the same as the xbox one. have a read of the network tutorials on xbox scene.

Actually, your Xbox nic has a MAC address, it does not get assigned. Just type that address into your IE address bar without changing your computer's IP.
