I would like to know where to solder the yellow wire from the controller port to. I know that you are supposed to solder to the power/eject board... but... that's too permanent a connection... can i solder it to reset/eject adapter? where would i solder the point to?

P.S. by permanent connection... i mean, i would like to be able to remove the front panel after.

hmm well even though you dont want to solder to the on/eject pcb its the second point up from the bottom, on the long line of pins. if you can work out where that is on the the power/eject apadter then solder it there. i mean what you could do just touch mutliple points on the adapter bit and try the button and then when you find one that works then solder it to that point.
